Mary MacDonald
Providence Business News reporter Mary MacDonald is leaving the news organization.
Her last day is Friday. MacDonald, who covers health care, real estate, labor and manufacturing, is joining the Massachusetts Teachers Association as a writer and editor.
She has been with the Business News since December 2014 and before that was a development writer for Massachusetts General Hospital.
MacDonald also worked for Patch.com in Boston and for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution covering education.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in education from the University of Massachusetts.
