Tech news site Protocol has hired Zeyi Yang to cover China.
Yang has bene a reporting fellow at Rest of World since June 2020, reporting on startups, entrepreneurs and other topics.
He also has been freelancing for the South China Morning Post, Nikkei Asian Review and other publications. And he has brokered and interpreted interviews with Wuhan locals for reporters at other publications.
Yang is a graduate of Peking University and holds a master’s degree in journalism and international affairs from Columbia University.
