Liz Hamson, editor of Property Week, will be leaving her post at the end of April to pursue new opportunities.
Hamson was a formerly deputy editor of The Grocer. She was also a deputy editor at William Reed Business Media Ltd., and has previously also served as a features editor at Property Week.
Hamson said: “It has been an amazing journey and I’m proud of the part I have played in driving the brand forward, but all good things come to an end.”
Richard Watts, managing director of Property Week, added:
“Liz has done a fantastic job for both the magazine and the real estate sector. The news and insight her team has given the industry has helped Property Week to achieve record subscription revenues, and in 2020 Liz was instrumental in Property Week being named ‘Business magazine brand’ of the year at the media industry’s PPA awards.”
