Amanda DruryNikhil Deogun, senior vice president and editor in chief at CNBC, sent out the following announcement:

A few months ago, Mandy Drury approached me to discuss her need to move to her native Australia in early 2016 for family reasons.

Mandy has been a valued member of the CNBC family for 15 years – first in Asia and for the past five-and-a-half years here in the U.S. Her international markets savvy and poise have helped the shows she has anchored shine, and her work ethic and can-do attitude have made her a cherished colleague.

While Mandy is leaving the U.S., I’m pleased to say she will stay involved with CNBC as an on-air contributor for our global properties.

Please join me in wishing Mandy and her family the very best and thanking Mandy for her continued commitment and contributions to CNBC.
