She is a master at untangling complicated subjects and she’ll apply that same expertise to her added beat of law, covering trends and people in the region’s legal industry as well as high-profile lawsuits.
“Commercial real estate reporter Jonathan Bach has added finance to his beat. It’s a natural addition given how interwoven CRE and banking are. Jonathan will also continue the PBJ’s coverage of equity in lending. He came out of the gate strong on that topic with a December report on lending in Portland’s majority-minority census tracts.”
