Portland Business Journal launches new Web site design

The Portland Business Journal introduced a new Web site that emphasizes more local news, writes associate editor Lloyd Woods.

Woods writes, “Eventually, we plan to include short video clips highlighting such activities as our monthly breakfast speakers and events such as the corporate philanthropy awards.

“You may have also noticed that we recently added the ability for readers to comment on our Web site stories. I’m happy to report that so far — for the most part — the comments have not been as snarky as you might find on other news Web sites, which attests to the quality of our readership.
