Matthew Flamm of Crain’s New York writes that a story posted on the Conde Nast Portfolio web site Monday afternoon had two TKs in the text.
That’s shorthand by journalists for information “to come.”
Flamm wrote, “Portfolio.com, is hardly the first Web site to put up a story that still needed work. But it’s a little unusual for TKs to make it into public view.
“A Portfolio spokeswoman, told of the errors, said she’d look into it. In other words, ‘TK.’
“She called back to say the post had been removed for an update. ‘Someone hit go before it was finished,’ she added.
“The entire Web site will ‘refresh’ on Aug. 23rd, when it goes live with new bloggers and a new design.”
