Politico taps Daugherty to helm Morning Transportation newsletter

Alex Daugherty

Alex Daugherty is joining Politico to lead the Morning Transportation newsletter and report on infrastructure, supply chains and transportation issues.

Previously, he was a Washington correspondent at The Miami Herald, where he has also worked as a politics reporter. He was also a Washington correspondent for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, one of McClatchy’s flagship newspapers.

He was also a reporter at York Daily Record/Sunday News in York, Pennsylvania.

Daugherty has a B.A. from Bates College and a M.S. from Columbia University in New York.
