Politico Europe has promoted Emilio Casalicchio to the post of political correspondent.
Previously, he was UK reporter covering Westminster politics and policy for Politico.
Before that, Casalicchio was at PoliticsHome for more than 6 years, joining as a chief reporter and recently serving as a political reporter. He has also worked at Brighton and Hove Independent, Press Gazette, and LATEST TV.
He has also worked at The Argus where he sourced, researched and delivered news articles among other tasks.
Casalicchio is a B.A. in philosophy and film from Sussex University and has also built a portfolio to NCTJ Gold Standard, undertaking modules in reporting, media law, public affairs, production journalism and 100wpm shorthand.
