Politico has hired Joshua Siegel to cover energy and climate news coming out of Congress.
Siegel is currently an energy and environment reporter at the Washington Examiner and helps author the Daily on Energy newsletter. Prior to that beat, he covered foreign policy, immigration, and criminal justice.
He graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University, where he studied business and journalism and was sports editor of Eagle News.
He grew up in Chicago.
