Politico has hired Utility Dive senior reporter Gavin Bade to cover energy policy.
He will start in May.
“I’ve always admired Politico’s accountability journalism and have wanted to work there since my schooldays,” said Bade on Twitter. “I’m humbled by the opportunity and just want to put my best foot forward.”
Bade has been at Industry Dive since September 2014 and was one of the early employees at the company.
He is a graduate of Georgetown University, where he was editor in chief of the Georgetown Voice.
