Phoenix Business Journal unveils redesign

The Phoenix Business Journal, a paper in the American City Business Journals chain, introduced a redesigned newspapers to its readers on Friday.

Editor Ilana Lowery wrote, “You will find our front page cleaner and more visually appealing. Throughout the paper, there are lots of other changes, too: Features that have been added to help you navigate your Business Journal include ‘Inside this Week,’ which offers a quick look at all of the news and sections in that issue; an easier-to-read index of people and companies; and a Readers’ Guide with information about how to connect with us online, in print and via broadcast.

“We are very excited about our new ‘Biz 2.0’ section with an emphasis on entrepreneurs. Here you’ll find rotating feature stories, one-on-ones with local entrepreneurs, a networking calendar and other topics such as ‘Startup’ and ‘Capital Concerns.’ Biz 2.0 replaces our former Biz Edge section.

“Also new to the paper is ‘The Insider’ column on Page 3 with the buzz about what’s happening behind the scenes in the business community. In addition, you will find more in-depth special reports with newsier, more timely content. New topics added to the lineup include environmental sustainability, global economy and architecture.”
