Ilana Lowery, the Phoenix Business Journal editor, reflects on leaving the publication next month after 23 years.
Lowery writes, “My last day will be June 4. The decision to spread my wings has been a difficult and bittersweet one. The people at the Phoenix Business Journal are more my family than my co-workers. “I take great pride being a part of this team.
“For more than two decades, our parent company, American City Business Journals, has given me several exciting opportunities to learn and advance. I’ve enjoyed every moment, especially building the best newsroom I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.
“Now, after 23 years at the Business Journal, I am ready for a change and a new challenge.”
