Philly Inquirer unveils redesigned business section

Brian Toolan, the business editor of the Philadelphia Inquirer, tells Talking Biz News, “Besides the new look, the redesign includes a coverage topic that is highlighted on a daily basis, Monday through Friday.

“The themes are: Monday – Small Business; Tuesday – Personal Investing; Wednesday – Auto reviews/Auto industry notebooks; Thursday – Consumer Technology; Friday – Real Estate.

“The Saturday and Sunday sections bear the looks of the redesign but the themed content is a M-F enhancement.

“The goals are: Added value for readers/increased readership as a result/incremental advertising opportunities.”

If your business section has recently undergone a redesign, send Talking Biz news a jpeg file of the page and some details of the changes.
