Philadelphia Business Journal editor Craig Ey sent out the following announcement:
It is with personal regret but warm wishes that I announce the retirement of Managing Editor Dell Poncet, effective March 29. Dell’s retirement after 31 years marks the end of an era for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
His commitment to excellence and his dedication to the company and the staff will be missed. Dell’s longtime work as a coach, mentor and confidante is simply unparalleled.
Dell and his wife Elizabeth plan to move to Washington State to be close to Dell’s daughter and granddaughter.
We will begin the search for his replacement immediately.
And, yes, we will celebrate Dell’s career with food and drink. Stay tuned for details.
