Perez named editor of D CEO magazine

Christine Perez

Christine Perez has been hired as editor of D CEO magazine in Dallas.

She replaces Glenn Hunter, who has been with the magazine since 2007. Danielle Abril, the managing editor of the magazine, has also left.

She had been the magazine’s executive editor before leaving in November 2016 to become a public relations person for real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield in Texas.

Perez had been at the magazine, often named the best regional business magazine in the U.S., since 2010, first as managing editor and then executive editor. She was also editor of D CEO Real Estate, its commercial real estate news site.

Before that, Perez spent 10 years at the Dallas Business Journal, first as its commercial real estate reporter and then its managing editor. She also worked at the Johnson County Business Times.

Perez has been a board member of the Alliance of Area Business Publishers. She majored in accounting at Central Michigan University and studied journalism at the University of Minnesota.
