Pension & Investments hires Croce as DC reporter

Brian Croce

Brian Croce joined Pensions & Investments in June as a reporter in the newspaper’s Washington office.

Croce will write news and features on legal and regulatory issues relating to defined contribution retirement plans and investment issues important to institutional investors.

Before joining P&I, Croce worked at Hanley Wood Media as a senior associate editor, where he wrote news and feature stories about the homebuilding and multifamily industries for Builder and Multifamily Executive magazines.

He also wrote news and feature stories for the Valley Stream Herald and Lynbrook/East Rockaway Herald.

Croce is a graduate of SUNY-Oswego in journalism.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
