Pennsylvania biz reporter leaving for another paper

Erin Negley, a business reporter at the Reading Eagle, is leaving the paper for a job at another Pennsylvania daily.

Negley tells Talking Biz News that she will become a feature writer for LNP, the daily newspaper in Lancaster.

“I’m still interested in writing business stories if the time allows,” said Negley.

Prior to writing for Business Weekly, Negley was a metro reporter at the Eagle, covering the Conrad Weiser and Wilson communities. She also was a reporter at the (Hanover) Evening Sun.

Negley is from the Carlisle area and graduated from Ithaca College. She won first place in general news and second place in business reporting in the Pennsylvania Women’s Press Association contest this past year.
