Michelle Karas, the business editor of the Pottstown Mercury in Pennsylvania, is leaving the paper to become managing editor of a paper in Vermont.
Karas writes, “Next week, I start a new job as managing editor of The Mercury’s sister paper in southern Vermont, the Bennington Banner. I keep telling my friends here it’s a quaint little town to visit, and only five short hours away … close to great skiing and surrounded by breathtakingly beautiful scenery.
“Nonetheless, I’m finding it hard to tear myself away from Pottstown, my home for the past 14 years.
“Pottstown has so many things going for it.”
