Richard Eisenberg will be retiring as managing editor of PBS Next Avenue.
His last day is Jan. 4.
As managing editor, Eisenberg is responsible for all content on Nextavenue.org, the PBS site for people 50+. He is also an editor and blogger about personal finance and careers for the site. His blog also appears on Forbes.com.
His podcast “Your Next Avenue” appears on iTunes and at other podcast distributors.
He was also responsible for all front page content about personal finance, business, real estate, education and automobiles at Yahoo. He has also worked freelance and was a personal finance editor for CBS Moneywatch.com.
He also worked at Money magazine for 19 years, where he served as an assistant managing editor, senior editor, writer, Washington correspondent and reporter. He also served as executive editor.
Eisenberg is the author of “How to Avoid a Mid-Life Financial Crisis” and “The Money Book of Personal Finance.”
