The Phoenix Business Journal has tapped Andy Blye to cover financial services and technology in the Valley.
Blye will be reporting on banks to accounting firms to wealth management firms. He will also cover private equity and venture capital deals. As part of the technology coverage, Blye will also report on a wide range of businesses, from the biggest public tech companies to the growing legion of software firms and cool startups.
Previously, Blye was a reporting intern at Dow Jones News Fund. He was also a graduate assistant at Arizona State University and has served as a market intelligence specialist at bChannels. He has also worked at the Peace Corps.
“I’m overjoyed to join this newsroom and work alongside such excellent reporters and editors,” Blye said. “I’m excited to dig into the worlds of banking and technology, both vital parts of our Phoenix story.”
Blye holds a Master’s degree in investigative journalism from Arizona State University.
