Politico has hired Oriana Pawlyk as an aviation reporter, covering commercial aviation and space on the transportation team.
Pawlyk joins from Military.com, where she covered all things related to air warfare.
She was also intern at the Federal Times, deputy news editor at Air Force Times, editor of the early bird brief and reporter for Military Times, and reporter at the Air Force Times at Sightline Media Group.
She was also a fellow at The National Press Foundation and has interned at Cardenas Marketing Network, American Pharmacists Association and The Oxford Press.
Pawlyk has a B.A. in journalism and English literature from Miami University.
