Sahil Patel is leaving his post at Digiday to join the Wall Street Journal’s editorial staff.
Most recently, Patel was a media editor for the online media publication. He also served as a senior reporter and a video reporter at Digiday.
Prior to Digiday, Patel was the editorial director for VideoInk, an online news publication that focuses on business news about the fast-growing digital video industry.
He also worked for Cynopsis Media as a digital associate editor and reporter, covering digital video, advertising, and technology.
Patel also produces several annual events focused on video, television and advertising. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in film studies.
