Mario Parker, a White House reporter at Bloomberg for the past 2 years, will now be taking on a new role helming Bloomberg Politics coverage, including the mid-terms and the 2024 presidential race.
In this role, he succeeds Wendy Benjaminson.
Parker has been with Bloomberg for 15 years. Previously, he covered agriculture, energy, breaking news and the nexus between the Midwest and Washington policy. He has also served as a general assignment reporter, covering breaking news nationally and in Washington D.C.
Parker has received numerous awards and honors and holds a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
