Antonio Fins, the business editor of the Palm Beach Post, is leaving to become managing editor in Washington bureau of McClatchy.
A Media Moves post states, “‘I’ll admit, I got Potomac Fever helping to lead coverage of the Trump presidency at Mar-a-Lago,’ Fins tells Media Moves. ‘I wasn’t looking to leave the Post, where I have a great staff and am very proud of the work we did. But this opportunity is a dream job at such an important time in the country’s political history (and for journalism itself).’
“In his new role, he’ll work with the teams covering the White House, Congress and political parties.
“Fins joined the Post in 2015. He previously spent 3 years as Executive Director for the non-profit Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation. Before that, he was the Editorial Page Editor at the Sun Sentinel, where he worked for 15 years.”
