Christopher Officer, the research editor at the Pacific Coast Business Times in California, is leaving the publication to pursue a new opportunity in Los Angeles.
He has been with the business newspaper since November 2014. He also oversaw special reports.
Officer previously was community editor for the Carver County News in Minnesota, covering the cities of Watertown and Mayer.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from DePaul University and is a former U.S. Marine.
