The Pacific Business News, the weekly business newspaper in Honolulu owned by American City Business Journals, celebrated its 50th anniversary this past week.
Attendees included newspaper founder George Mason’s widow, Dot Mason, and son, George Mason, along with two former Honolulu mayors and former Hawaii Gov. George Ariyoshi.
Whit Shaw, president and CEO of American City Business Journals, traveled from the company’s headquarters in Charlotte, N.C., with members of his family to attend the event.
