Kristine Owram is the new team leader for equities industries Americas team at Bloomberg overseeing stock market coverage.
Owram has been with Bloomberg for more than three years, joining as Canadian stock market reporter and then serving as cannabis reporter before being promoted to her current post of team leader.
Prior to joining Bloomberg, Owram was working as a transportation reporter at National Post. She has also served as an on-air reporter/chase producer at Bell Media and held the post of business reporter/editor at The Canadian Press.
She has also worked as Alberta bureau chief at Canadian University Press.
Owram has a bachelor’s degree in history from University of Alberta and a master’s degree in journalism from Carleton University.
