Ottawa Biz Journal journalist Lord departs for Global Ottawa

Craig Lord

Craig Lord, who was first a reporter and then an editor with the Ottawa Business Journal, has left the publication to join Global Ottawa where he will be covering Ottawa’s City Hall and local news.

Before coming to the Journal, Lord was with Techopia which he joined in 2015 as a web editor. He was later on promoted to the post of editor, host for Techopia Live.

Lord has also worked as a senior digital editor at In the Long Run and as a producer at One New Message Podcast. He also held the post of digital storyteller at Carleton University. Before that, Lord was a digital editor and then a freelance videographer at The Globe and Mail.

He has also served as an editor-in-chief at Centretown News and as a senior program assistant at Shad Valley International.

Lord holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Carleton University.
