Joanna Ossinger has been named an editor for the cross-asset group, which covers markets globally, at Bloomberg News.
Since December 2016, she has been managing a global team of 10 editors in the curation, live news and blogs group that coordinates the flow of Bloomberg News stories, making sure the right news goes to the right places.
Ossinger, who has been president of the Society of American Business Editors and Writers, previously worked as an editor on the Bloomberg First Word foreign exchange group. She also has worked on the U.S. equities team as stocks editor and as a deputy team leader.
Before joining Bloomberg in early 2010, Ossinger worked at Fox Business Network, TheStreet.com and the Wall Street Journal.
She is a graduate of Cornell University and hold a master’s degree from Georgetown University in international policy and development.
