Orlando consumer columnist switching to work/life coverage

Greg Dawson, the consumer columnist for the Orlando Sentinel for the past nine years, is switching beats to workplace issues.

Sentinel editor Mark Russell writes, “His last consumer column appears Monday. He’ll start a new beat writing about workplace news and he’ll soon write a weekly column on work/life issues. It’s an area of universal interest for most readers and I am sure Greg will bring the same insight and passion to his new beat and column that he devoted to The Last Resort.”

Dawson was previously the consumer columnist for the Indianapolis Star from 2000 to 2003. He also worked for the Sentinel from 1986 to 2000.

He moved his act back to the Sentinel in 2003 and began writing a three-times-a-week column, which ran on Thursday in the business section, Saturday in the Home Front section, and Sunday in the Your Money section.
