Martin Lewis has stepped down as publisher of Orlando Business Journal effective Thursday in order to pursue other opportunities.
A story on the paper’s website states, “Lewis was named publisher of OBJ in December 2012, succeeding Ann Sonntag, who announced her intention to retire after 21 years with parent company American City Business Journals.
“Prior to joining Orlando Business Journal, Lewis served as the projects director and, previously, the advertising director of sister paper Washington Business Journal. Before joining ACBJ, he was publisher of Utah Business magazine in Salt Lake City for 13 years.
“‘ACBJ appreciates many of the things Martin was able to accomplish while in Orlando and wishes him all the best as he moves forward with other opportunities,’ said ACBJ CEO Whitney Shaw.”
