Mark Mueller has been named the new editor of the Orange County Business Journal while Peter Brennan has been named executive editor, a new position, at the paper.
Mueller replaces Pete Weitzner, who had been the editor since April 2017.
He has been a senior editor at the paper. Mueller covered commercial and residential real estate for the paper. His beat also includes title insurers and mortgage lenders, as well as government stories that relate to real estate.
Brennan had been the paper’s financial editor since February 2017.
He spent 14 years at Bloomberg News in its Los Angeles bureau, covering overing tech, banks, insurance and other publicly traded companies.
Brennan previously spent three years at the Orange County Business Journal.
