Former TechCrunch staffer Drew Olanoff is returning to the tech news organization to work on Extra Crunch, its subscription service.
Olanoff will start in early 2021 and work on community projects.
He previously worked at TechCrunch in 2015 and 2016, covering Google and Twitter and focusing on augmented reality stories. In 2012 and 2013, he worked at TechCrunch to build its social media presence.
Olanoff has since been a senior vice president at Mercury Public Affairs and vice president of communications at Scaleworks. He also the senior public relations lead at Monzo Bank.
