The Observer in New York has hired Isabella Simonetti to cover technology and the creator economy.
Simonetti started on Monday. She previously was interning at Bloomberg News.
She also interned at Her Money, Vox, the New York Post and the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Simonetti is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. While there, she was president of The Daily Pennsylvanian, the student newspaper.
