Eduardo Medina, a reporting fellow on The New York Times Express desk will be joining the desk full-time as a breaking news and general assignment reporter after his fellowship ends in May.
Previously, he has covered breaking news, criminal justice and racial disparities as a Hearst fellow at the Albany Times Union. Additionally, Medina has also interned on the Metro desk at the San Francisco Chronicle.
Medina graduated from Auburn University, where he served as editor-in-chief of the student paper, the Auburn Plainsman.
