NY Times Sunday biz editor Summers hired by New York magazine

New York Times Sunday business editor Nick Summers has been hired by New York magazine.

He will be features editor, assigning and editing pieces that will run in the print magazine and across the site, with a focus on business and politics.

He was previously the editor of the New York Times’ Sunday business section, producing cover stories, special issues, and a suite of columns.

Before that, he was a features editor at Bloomberg Businessweek.

Prior to joining Businessweek in 2012, Summers was a senior writer at Newsweek. And before that he succeeded John Koblin as the New York Observer’s media columnist.
