The New York Post has hired reporter Sarah Paynter to cover luxury real estate.
She will start Jan. 11.
Paynter had been at Yahoo Finance covering real estate. She had been nominated for the Yahoo Finance trailblazer award for her “Mall of the Future” article, which was Yahoo’s first interscroller article and first augmented reality experience, plus it had audio for accessibility.
She is a graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, where she focused on business journalism. She won the Philip Greer Memorial Scholarship Fund Award for outstanding financial journalism.
