NY Post deputy biz editor becomes deputy web editor

Holly Sanders Ware, the deputy business editor of the New York Post, has been named the deputy web editor of the paper.

Ware has been deputy business editor since June 2010. Before that, she spent six years as a business reporter for the paper, covering media and marketing for the paper’s business section.

Ware also worked as a reporter for Bloomberg News, where she covered large cable TV operators and later media conglomerates, from September 2000 to April 2004.

She has an undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon and a master’s degree from Northwestern University.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
