Craig McEwen, the business editor of the Fargo Forum in North Dakota, is retiring after 31 years at the newspaper.
Mary Jo Hotzler will be the paper’s new business editor.
“‘In the last few years, with the direction downtown Fargo has taken and initiatives by the Greater Fargo-Moorhead Economic Development Corporation, there’s been no shortage of business stories to write,’ he said.
“A native of Ortonville, Minn., McEwen joined The Forum as a reporter in 1979, when the paper expanded its Moorhead bureau and Minnesota coverage.
“Before joining The Forum’s news staff, McEwen worked at three weekly newspapers in Minnesota and as editor of the West Fargo Pioneer after graduating from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 1973.”
