North Carolina biz paper looking for editor

The Greater Wilmington Business Journal along the North Carolina coast is looking for a new editor.

Founded in 2000, the independent, locally-owned newspaper publishes every other week in print and daily online.

The Business Journal breaks news, provides in-depth coverage of important issues to the business community and writes profiles of area entrepreneurs, executives and other community leaders.

Located in historic downtown Wilmington, minutes from the ocean, the Business Journal offers an experienced editor or ambitious business reporter the opportunity to shape a newspaper and play an important role in a fast-growing community.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
