The Montclair Times in northern New Jersey is seeking to hire a journalist whose responsibilities will include overseeing the business section, according to an item in Thursday’s newspaper, which is a weekly.
The paper stated, “The Times’ beat includes coverage of the Montclair Planning Board and Zoning Board, overseeing the newspaper’s Business section, and writing general assignment and breaking-news articles and features.
“This position includes covering much of Montclair’s rapidly evolving streetscape and the town’s economic and real estate evolution.
“A candidate must have journalism prowess and the ability to work days, evenings and weekends when necessary. Good verbal and written communications skills are required, as is the ability to deal positively with people.”
