Chris Newlands will be joining i newspaper as its new business and money editor.
There, he will be working with Elizabeth Anderson and Alys Key, deputy business editor at the newspaper.
Recently, Newlands was editor of Financial News.
Before that, he was with the Financial Times which he joined in 2003 as a European pensions and investment news editor. Later on, he was promoted to the post of launch and managing editor for Ignites Europe and then from 2012 to 2017, he served as an asset management editor at the organization.
In addition, Newlands has also worked as a reporter at the Euromoney Institutional Investor.
He is also the author of The Virgin Money Maker by Virgin Books.
Newlands is a B.A. in economics from University of Sussex.
