Doug Fenton has joined the editorial staff of Community Newspapers of Western New York as business editor.
A story on the Hamburg Sun website states, “Doug served as case manager and marketing director for Fredonia Place, an assisted living and memory care community, for the past seven years.
“He formerly served as community relations director at Lake Shore Health Care Center, Brooks Memorial Hospital and Absolut Care of Dunkirk. He also formerly served as business editor for the Dunkirk Observer.
“A graduate of the State University of New York at Fredonia and Niagara County Community College, Doug served as managing editor for the former Buffalo Business Journal and as president of the Empire Healthcare Communicators Association and former North County Counseling Service. Active in the community, he currently serves as a Eucharistic minister and lay reader at the Episcopal Church of the Advent in Kenmore.”
