B. Colby Hamilton has been hired by the New York Law Journal, an ALM paper to cover white collar crime and Wall Street.
He startes Monday. Hamilton has been covering the legal system in New York City and State for Politico New York.
Focusing on the intersection of government policy, law enforcement and the criminal justice system, Hamilton has covered federal corruption trials of state officials, detailed the evolution of the state’s highest court under Gov. Andrew Cuomo, and continues to explore the implementation and effect of New York City’s criminal justice reform efforts.
Prior to joining Politico New York, Hamilton covered City Hall for DNAinfo and WNYC.
He’s a graduate of the City University of New York’s Graduate School of Journalism. He has a bachelor’s degree in creative writing from Emerson College.
