Bloomberg’s Meakin to edit “Daybreak”

Bloomberg News has tapped Lucy Meakin as editor for its morning news show “Bloomberg Daybreak.”

Previously, Meakin held the post of Bank of England and economy reporter/editor.

Meakin has been with Bloomberg for over 14 years, serving in various roles, including multimedia producer, government bonds and foreign exchange reporter and executive producer of the award-winning “Stephanomics” podcast.

Meakin is a M.A. in English language and literature from University of Oxford and a M.A. in multimedia journalism from Bournemouth University.
