Bloomberg has appointed Isis Almeida as team leader – gas, power and renewables, Europe. In her new role, she will lead a team of reporters covering the energy transition in Europe.
Previously, Almeida was senior commodities reporter, deputy team leader – agriculture, metals and mining for the Americas.
Almeida has been with Bloomberg for over ten years, holding various roles, including soft commodities reporter, UK/EU natural gas reporter, agricultural commodities reporter, and senior agricultural commodities reporter.
Prior to Bloomberg, she was an assistant editor covering biofuels and gasoline components at S&P Global Platts. She was also a contributor – WSJE Weekend, at The Wall Street Journal.
She has also contributed to Editora Globo and Abril.
Almeida is a M.A. in business and finance journalism from City, University of London.
