Liz Flaisig has joined the business desk at the Florida Times-Union, according to a short story in Sunday’s paper.
The story stated, “‘We’re pleased to have Liz in this role,’ Business Editor Paul Mattson said. ‘Liz has a wealth of knowledge about the real estate and development communities on the First Coast, which will translate into many interesting stories that I’m sure our readers will enjoy.’
“Flaisig joined the Times-Union in June 2006 as an editorial page writer.
“In that position, she wrote opinion pieces reflecting the newspaper’s position on a variety of issues involving nonprofits, housing and development, education, the juvenile justice system and Clay County government.
“Previously, Flaisig covered residential and commercial real estate and retail at the Jacksonville Business Journal.”
