Banks Dishmon has been named the new publisher of the Fort Worth Business Press, which was sold last year to Brown Publishing, according to a story on the paper’s Web site.
“Brown Publishing Co. CEO Roy Brown, whose Tipp City, Ohio-based company owns the Business Press, said Dishmon’s experience in starting and running publications is a perfect fit for the Fort Worth paper.
“‘Banks is a native Texan and has been a publisher of leading publications in the D/FW market for more than 20 years,’ Brown said. ‘He has a national reputation as a top-flight manager of information businesses and – supported by the team at the Business Press – we look forward to helping Banks create the kind of innovative, industry-leading business publication the Fort Worth area deserves.'”
