New Mexico Business Weekly publisher resigns

Sherri Wells resigned as publisher of the New Mexico Business Weekly, according to a short story on the web site of the American City Business Journals paper. She had been on leave.

The story stated, “Nancy Salem, the Business Weekly’s editor, will serve as the newspaper’s general manager, in addition to editor, until a new publisher is named, the Charlotte, N.C.-based business news chain said.

“Salem, a University of New Mexico journalism graduate, has worked in the Albuquerque news business for 30 years.”
